Sonoran Trails came upon Joe Osuch when Josh’s rig suffered a catastrophic front axle break and he and Jeff were limping out of Box Canyon. Joe was in his beast of a recovery vehicle with a trailer in tow enroute to extract a rock-crawling rig that was just plain broke. We chatted a bit and Joe offered to help us after he recovered this other rig. We ended up not needing him, but his down to earth demeanor was contagious and we knew we had found someone who would head out regardless of the circumstances. Joe owns and operates Arizona 4×4 Off Road Recovery. With 36 years of experience in off road navigation, over 16 years in the towing industry and off road recovery, and a knowledge of the terrain of the valley and beyond, Joe knows his stuff.
